Astrology is the art and science of relating cosmic patterns to human character and destiny and in so doing to discover new meaning and significance in both the universe and in one's Self. The study of astrology in fact leads to the realizations that character is destiny and that the universe and the Self are at their core one and the same. Thus, astrology at its deepest and most profound level is a true spiritual path.

       Many people fear astrology, believing they will find out that they are "limited" in some way or even "fated." But real astrology is neither fortune-telling nor a deterministic philosophy of life. The birth chart in fact shows how the individual human life is synchronized with the movements in the heavens and further reveals how our deepest inner yearnings, our true life-purpose can be realized. Our inner cosmic timing and cycles become conscious as do the self-defeating patterns and attitudes that have kept us locked into our problems and our past. The birth chart then is in fact a diagnostic instrument and a therapeutic tool, helping us to recognize solutions to our everyday problems in work life, relationships, parenting, etc. And ultimately the chart is a mandala, a device for meditation and a pattern of spiritual growth leading to liberation from the known and to the true joy of Self-actualization.
